The articles posted on Pixcelation reflect only the opinions of the authors themselves at the time of publication. Although Pixcelation strives to maintain strict editorial standards, opinions are not generally edited and therefore it is not reasonable to assume that the opinions expressed in the article belong to anyone other than the author. Nearly every article on Pixcelation contains elements of humor or satire, regardless of whether or not they are labeled as such. Although this is not true for all circumstances, Pixcelation is generally willing to post a full editorial explaining the error and correcting it and also is generally willing to correct the content in the initial post and to place an editorial statement explaining the error. Pixcelation assumes no liability for any losses due to the initial statement, however, and encourages all readers to generally approach all content as satirical in nature due to Pixcelation’s satirical focus.

Pixcelation and its authors do accept items of monetary value (including, but not limited to, passes or tickets to events, content for review purposes such as video games, books, films, digital files, etc., or miscellaneous physical items) for review purposes. However, acceptance of an item on the part of Pixcelation or one of its contributors – whether solicited or unsolicited on our part – does not guarantee that a review will be posted and it will not effect the content of the review. Authors are also required to post any conflict of interest with regards to their reviews and failure to do so is taken seriously by the editorial staff. If a contributor receives any sort of content related to a review posted on the website, they must disclose this in the review.

No contributor may post or publish a review in any format (video or text) of a product that have not personally seen or used. With regards to films, TV series/episodes and books, the authors must disclose in their review if they have not seen or read the piece in its entirety.

With regards to artistic criticism, it is Pixcelation’s general policy to allow the use of photographs, quotations and video segments in the critique so long as we believe the use of the material is qualified as fair use. We assume such usage is fair and acceptable until informed otherwise. If you are the copyright holder or the host of such material and do not wish to see it displayed on Pixcelation, please contact us with a request to remove the material.

For any content (including, but not limited to, photographs, quotations and video content) hosted on another website besides Pixcelation, the original source of the content can almost always be found cited in the source code of the page itself. By linking to and/or embedding the content on our page, we make no claim of ownership on the content itself and will generally cite the original source directly in the text if possible. Although this is not true in all circumstances, Pixcelation generally does not alter watermarks or other authorial markings attached to images or videos and strives to leave them intact and unaltered when the content is linked to and/or embedded on Pixcelation. As neither the hosts nor creators of the content, we assume no responsibility for any potential copyright violations or illegal content contained in the video. As YouTube itself has strict standards to prevent copyright violations or illegal content from being displayed on the site, we have a reasonable expectation that the content is both legal and not in violation of any intellectual property laws and we assume no liability if this is not the case. Pixcelation does often provide links to submit content on Reddit. However, it is against Pixcelation’s policy for any contributor to post an article they have written on Pixcelation on Reddit without explicitly stating that the content is their own. Pixcelation does, however, allow for contributors to post the articles of other contributors on Pixcelation on Reddit but they are under no obligation to do so and do so of their own volition. No contributors of any level at Pixcelation receive any benefits from the company and all members who have Netlfix accounts have access to them through personal or family accounts that are paid for by either themselves or a family member.

Neither Pixcleation nor the “Morning Report” segment are affiliated with Disney or any of its subsidiaries or anyone involved with the creation of the film “Lion King”  in any substantial way. Pixcelation has no reason to believe that any of the above parties endorse (or are even aware of) our content.

Pixcelation requires that a reasonable amount of time be allowed to fulfill any requests and assumes no liability for any damages that occur after the request itself. Not all requests will be honored and requests that Pixcelation has reason to believe are illegal in any way will not be followed.
